ABOUT US
"Prison Book" is the main project of the cross-media graduation production required by the third-year graduates of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Chinese Media and Communication Studies in the Media Studies Department of New Era University College, meaning that students are required to take their professional knowledge and skills gained from the 3 years of study and produce a professional cross-media work as their graduation outcome. In an era of advanced information communication and networking, this year's students will also make use of their media skills to organise social care campaigns using social media platforms and on-site exhibitions, using a combination of traditional PR and online PR communication methods. This activity will also promote social care in accordance with the Media Studies Department's spirit of "impartiality, objectivity, and criticality" and the University College's educational philosophy of "originating from society and giving back to society".
Campaign purposes
Remind the public to think twice before acting, and at the same time increase the public's understanding of prison life and ex-prisoners.
Promote social care and advocate that the public be treated equally.
Raise public awareness of crime education.
